Know why I pulled you over? You were learnin’ too fast

A German student is being sued for €3,000 in ’lost income’ by his alma mater because he completed his degree in about a third of the time it usually takes, and the school (apparently, based on Google Translate) charges for the entire degree, not the classes themselves.  Pohl didn’t take the classes (instead taking the tests for credit), but relied on other students’ notes to learn the material — all while holding down an apprenticeship with a bank.  Pohl says the school agreed to let the students divide up classes and share notes with one another, but the school — shockingly — declined to comment.

If the Euro continues its current decline, Pohl might have nothing to worry about.

Apparently The School of Economics and Management in Essen isn’t the place to take PR classes.
